My Two Cents
This sweet chili stir fry with beef is a perfect combination of Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai flavors, all in a one-pan dinner! If you are looking for a new, delicious stir fry recipe – look no further!
Have you ever had a day when everything went wrong? A day, when you drag your body home after a long, tiring shift and all you can think of is a take-out? Well, if you give this recipe a try you would not ever want to get stir fry elsewhere but from your own kitchen. My amazing delicious beef for this recipe needs a proper 2 days of marination, so just go ahead and start it on a weekend and enjoy the day you need a rewarding dinner the most!

Marinate beefThe marinate is very simple yet works amazingly each and every time, making beef super tender and flavorful. Chop red hot pepper, ginger, and 3 cloves of garlic. Add zest and juice of 1 lime ( zest first, squeeze second, trust me, I have done it in a wrong order couple of times!). Add a quarter of a cup of Olive oil and mix well. Coat your top sirloin beef pieces and let them rest in the fridge, marination, for at least 48 hours. |

Sizzle beefHeat some cooking oil (I used canola) in a deep frying pan over high heat. Chop 3 more cloves of garlic and add to the pan. Let it get golden -brown and add slices of beef. Keep the heat on high and sizzle beef for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Do not freak out if you will see a lot of water in your pan, just keep stirring, and slowly it will evaporate, leaving just the flavor! Take the beef out of the pan when it gets nice brown color. |

Make sauceThis sauce is my twist on 3 different Asian cuisines, and it makes this stir fry stand out from a crowd! In a bowl mix juice of 1 lime, 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon of fish sauce, 1 tablespoon of sriracha (you can add more if you like it hot), and 3 tablespoons of Mae Ploy Chili Sauce ( or any other sweet chili sauce you have!). Add 1 teaspoon of ground coriander and mix well. |

Add noodles and beefIt is finally time to add noodles to the pan!. I used Ready To Wok noodles from Lidl, but any stir fry type noodle would work just right. Simply follow directions on its package and boil before adding. Add noodles and mix well with vegetables in the pan. Pour in 3 tablespoons of soy sauce. Make sure to coat noodles evenly. Now add 3 more tablespoons of Sweet Chili Sauce and mix everything again. Last but not least - add cooked beef to our stir fry and mix it all together. |

Dress and serve!Add some freshly chopped cilantro and black sesame seeds to your dish. It creates nice color contrast and a more pleasing texture. This is it. Simple, delicious, and soooo yummy sweet chili stir fry with beef is ready. I am sure you don't need my instruction on how to eat it, so go ahead and dig in! It is what you deserved! |
